I collaborated with Bright Moments and used their platform to release Wirwar at my first-ever solo show. Their Venice Beach gallery offered in-person redemption for those who purchased a mint-pass during the release.
The word "Wirwar" is difficult to translate accurately. The meaning of the Dutch word is comparable to "tangle" or "jumble. Drawings of isometric mazes and the works of Richard Serra served as the project's original sources of inspiration. Just imagine how difficult it would be to find your way out of one of the constructions that the project's algorithm generates. Jumbles of colourful walls are assembled by the code of Wirwar in order to be viewed on screens or in print.
